Campbell Dallas advises both funders and business owners on current and potential debt levels within a business. This ensures that the most appropriate type of debt is matched to the working capital cycle and needs of the business. We can conduct either high level reviews, or a more detailed approach to our analysis of the business.
Financial due diligence
Campbell Dallas has experience in carrying out transactional support roles for acquisitive companies, investors, funders and all the major financial institutions. We ensure that a tailored commercial approach is taken on all assignments. We ensure we focus on our clients’ objectives, which can include the following:
- Investors and funders
Focusing on the robustness and achievability of the projections and forecasts, the accuracy of the reported asset base as well as commenting upon reporting systems and management team.
- Acquisitive companies
Focusing on quantifying any contingent liabilities, commenting on working capital requirements and identify areas where the purchase price could be reduced.
We will communicate with our client throughout the process to ensure the key facts are highlighted at the earliest opportunity.
We can facilitate a strategy process to determine the best route for a business to grow and develop. The resultant financial forecast and business plan may lead to the need for further fundraising, an acquisition or disposal, specialist tax advice or revised management structure. The aim is to ensure the business is meeting the owner’s objectives.
We act as lead advisors and offer transactional support to a variety of clients, from MBO teams to individuals and from investors to funders. We assist in the negotiation of price, advise on the most appropriate deal structure dependent upon client needs, advise on tax implications and assist in fundraising, due diligence and project management.
Companies need a goal and a plan on how to achieve it.
Campbell Dallas Corporate Finance provides Partner-led advice to shareholders and their boards to develop a strategic plan to maximise shareholder value through growth, towards future exit, or simply to ensure goal alignment between shareholders and their boards.
Typically, we lead and facilitate a strategy session with shareholders and their board, with the outputs being an agreed strategic plan to guide key decision making and in daily business operations.
