As regular readers will know, Campbell Dallas are very proud to support The Prince’s Trust Scotland, through our sponsorship of Lunch with an Old Bag.

This year’s sparkling proceedings, at Edinburgh’s wonderful Prestonfield House, celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Lunch With an Old Bag, and raised a record-breaking £1million!! This is an outstanding amount and we are very proud to have been involved in such an achievement that will benefit so many young people.

Bringing together many of Scotland’s most glamorous and stylish ladies, known affectionately as ‘Old Bags’, this event was so named in order to address the unnecessary labelling of young people who can so easily and unfairly be assigned to categories they do not fit, and to raise funds for the many programmes The Prince’s Trust runs to help young people get into education, get a job or start a business.

With celebrity appearances from Christopher Biggins, Linda Robson, and entertainment provided by Bjorn Again this year’s lunch provided a fun-filled afternoon for everyone, whilst raising money through an auction of luxury prizes – an original “Mickie and Minnie” art work by renowned street artist Mr Brainwash was sold for £100,000 alone.

Having now raised a staggering £4.5million since its inception and as each year reaches new heights what can we hope for with Lunch With an Old Bag 2019….?!
