The majority of his work is tax related and he manages a significant portfolio of rural business for the firm. He speaks regularly at agricultural seminars on agriculturally related tax topics. |

ALAN TAYLOR has advised on agricultural matters for over 20 years, providing high levels of advice on taxation issues, in particular income and capital tax planning. Alan is part of the specialist tax consultancy team within the firm dealing with large and complex tax planning. |

IAN WILLIAMS is the firm’s Chairman. He has over 30 years experience in the rural sector in farms and estates, advising on Income and Capital Taxes Planning, VAT, Stamp Duty Land Tax, Financial Control and Management, Compensation claims and Acquisitions and Disposals. Ian is a specialist in Agricultural Co-operatives and was involved in setting-up some of the first farmers co-ops in Scotland. Today he acts for many co-operatives who were established to meet a range of objectives for their members. |
