Executive Summary
The executive summary is a brief synopsis of the rest of the document. The purpose of the summary is to give the reader an overview of business and it must do this clearly and concisely in a way which sets out the uniqueness and viability of the Proposal.
Key Elements
Describe your Proposal in a way which makes the reader:-
- Realise why you have so much enthusiasm for the business.
- Appreciate the opportunities for the future.
- Appreciate that there is a strong business case.
Recommendations
- The executive summary should not normally cover more than two pages of text.
- Write the summary after the rest of the plan is finalised.
- The summary should follow the headings of the plan.
