29.01.10 HELP US SMASH TARGET
Perth accountancy firm Campbell Dallas figure they can beat last year's Cash for Kids charity ball fundraiser if local businesses rally round again.
Last time round the Perth Concert Hall event generated more than £16,000 for charity, with the 170 guests including Ryder Cup skipper Colin Montgomerie.
The theme of this year's event on Saturday, April 17, is the Raoring Twenties, with guests encouraged to dress in appropriate attire for the occasion.
Campbell Dallas partner Andy Ritchie, hopes that the target will be smashed this year.
He said: "We are, as always, looking for companies to donate raffle prizes and auction items. All donations will be gratefully received and we will be sure to give all our supporters a mention on our programme. We are hoping to make this year's event even bigger and better than ever."
Lynda Curran, the Cash for Kids co-ordinator, added: "The Perth ball is one of the most prestigious events in our fundraising calendar and we are hoping to sell even more tables this year. All money raised will benefit children in our area."
