FAT BOB 'N' SOAPY SOUTAR'S BRAW BURNS SUPPER 2010
The 7th Fat Bob 'n' Soapy Soutar's Braw Burns Supper took place on January 29th at the Trades Hall in Glasgow. The supper was themed around DC Thomson characters including Oor Wullie and The Broons.
Over 170 successful business people from around Glasgow attended, inlcuding Arran Aromatics, Clydesdale Bank, Highland Spring, Laplace Electrical Limited, Mitchells Roberton, Reid Printers and Thomas Tunnock Limited. This year we had David Sibbald, one of the best Burn's guys in Scotland, to do our Immortal Memory and comedian Andy Cameron for the Toast to the Lassies. The music was provided by Jock the Box and Alastair MacDonald.
We managed to raise an impressive £14,000 (including gift aid), which will be split between Calum's Cabin and Yorkhill Children's Hospital.
